NENEH ON 7 SECONDS:
"From the beginning this album (Man) was to come out a bit earlier than it's ended up. But you know one thing has led to another and I mean it has been a heavy couple of years actually. So anyway, this was always the concept that it would come out on my album as well as on Youssou's. It was a duet after all... And it's a piece of music I feel really proud of and I'm glad being a part of it. We deliberately wanted to do something where we used the language we know - well, I didn't sing in Swedish (laughs) but... we wanted to bring in as much as possible because we are a group of people from very different places. So that's a good reason to do something that is more global than usually. It's funny, I was talking to someone about why the song was called 7 Seconds and that it takes 7 Seconds for someone basically to make an opinion about another person."
