NENEH ON TRICKY AND TOGETHER NOW:
" ...Tricky is a really old mate of mine. I mean Tricky used to eat all my cereal and sleep in the back room with Massive Attack. We were trying to think of people we could work with and Tricky came up as one those people. He is a serious talent. I feel grateful to Tricky as he broke something in me that I hadn't really heard in myself since Rip, Rig + Panic days. It was much more place for taking risks and experimenting and not necessarily getting it right. That is sort of what it is all about. And I had kind of forgotten how to do it in mysef. I felt a bit kind of blocked up. And we literally just went in the studio and he kind of had some things going and we did it all there in just one day. Most of the stuff we did was really impulsive and done there and then. 'Together now' ended up being the one we picked out as it is kind of the best track out of the ones we did and it's on his album as well. And it fitted in with 'Beastiality' and 'Carry Me' and some of the darker things on the album... "
