SYNOPSIS:
This DVD re-release features 'Every Stoopid Episode' of the award winning 80's series 'The Young Ones' with Punk Vyvyan, Neil-the-Hippy, slick Mike and clever-dick Rich.

Each anarchic episode includes live performances from bands like Madness, Motorhead, The Damned and Rip, Rig & Panic together with Neneh Cherry. Not to mention guest appearances from stars life Emma Thompson, Jennifer Saunders and many more!

Disc 1:
Demolition - Introducing the four wildly different roommates and their landlord, who soon has to provide them with a new place, as this one is being torn down the  next day.
Musical guest: Nine Below Zero

Oil - When the guys discover oil in their basement, Mike and Vyvyan take control and put Rick and Neil to work collecting it.
Musical guest: Radical Posture

Boring - They are terribly bored, despite the many fascinating things going on all around them that they somehow just keep missing!
Musical guest: Madness

Bomb - When an RAF jet's nuclear bomb safely lands in front of the refrigerator, Mike and Rick argue on how best to use it, while Vyvyan tries to set it off.
Musical guest: Dexy's Midnight Runners

Interesting - A party is in the offing, but everything that can go wrong, does. The whole thing turns into a frightful bore, until Vyvyan's friends show up!
Musical guest:
Rip, Rig and Panic (featuring Neneh Cherry)

Flood - Again a few new scenes are added to the opening credits and things open in medieval times. Things seem weird until Neil hits himself in the head with a pan and we learn that it is all in the garden. Rick imagines himself as a hero called the People’s Poet. Things finish and get weirder when the landlord turns into an Ax Wielding Maniac and Vyv winds up in Narnia while trying to hide.
Special non-musical guest: Bobby And His Man-Eating Lions

Disc 2:
Bambi - The students have to take a train ride so they can represent Scumbag University in the exciting game show, University Challenge.
Musical guest: Motorhead

Cash - A poltergeist is in the house as things keep disappearing and the gang has run out of money. That means there is only one thing to do and that means go visit the neighbours. With none of their ideas working, it is time to get a job. Not wanting to work, Vyv announces to the gang that he is pregnant and Neil if forced to join the police force.

Nasty - "Oh, have we got a video?" Yes! Mike has borrowed a VCR overnight, and they try to get it working, while evading the clutches of a South African vampire.
Musical guest: The Damned

Time - Rick wakes up to find a pretty young lady asleep in his bed, and fibs to his mates that they've "done it". What he doesn't realize is that she's an escaped violent mental patient!
Musical guest: Amazulu

Sick - Things around the house get pretty gross when everyone comes down with horrible colds. Things kick into high gear when they are taken hostage by a murderer and Neil gets planted in the garden. Neil’ss parents show up in this episode and there is a riot in the street.
Musical guest: Madness

Summer Holiday - As the school year ends, Rick's parents (who provide the rent) have just died, and the lads must now pay their own way. Rob a bank? Sure!
Musical guest: John Otway
